Description:
The syllabus for this course is the same as that for School Certificate. The starting level is fourth form physics. The course is written in 10 assignments covering one assignment on units and measurement, one on mechanics, one on heat energy, one on sound and waves, two on light, one on electrical circuits, one on batteries and electrolysis, one on electrostatics and magnetism and one on electro- magnetism.

Topics of the study units: measuring and measurement; motion; forces and energy; heat; sound; light; magnetism; and electricity.

Assessment is by assignments.

Prerequisite(s): None, although students will find it easier if they have done fourth form physics and mathematics.
